Thank You Global Pinoy Awards Launch- DFP Parañaque

It’s time to show our appreciation to our modern day heroes; we’re talking about our hardworking countrymen dubbed as Global Pinoys who strive hard to reach their dreams of helping their families and the nation.

Last Thursday, August 25th, the search for the most outstanding global Filipino workers has been launched. It was led by the Commission of Filipinos Overseas, Duty Free Philippines, Good News Pilipinas, Kraft Asia/Toblerone.

Toblerone also launched the Special Rewards Passport, a passport that can be used to redeem freebies and discounts from partner establishments. This promo is one way to recognize the efforts of our OFWs and say “Thank you”. This passport is a “pasalubong” global pinoys can enjoy as they shop, dine, and take a vacation with their family.

Guests that evening had a chance to bring home prizes from a raffle; vouchers for 10% discount redeemable for the same day shopping were also given away. Cocktails and music from True Faith set the mood for a light and groovy evening. There’s more to be thankful for… we were given Toblerone… not one, not two, but three big ones. What a sweet way to end the night!

Nominations are now open for the 1st Thank You Global Pinoy Awards! Everyone’s invited to nominate and vote deserving Global Pinoys who possess the values and traits of a true Filipino.
