Malingap Central Food Hall Experience

I enjoyed making this vlog and I can’t wait to show it to you guys. We had an awesome experience in this recently opened food hall in QC. The place looks vibrant and cool with well thought out concepts and food selections. There are 11 food stalls to choose from.

It felt like I’m in food heaven and couldn’t decide which one to eat. My favorites for the night were: beef kebab from Shish-K and the polvoron cheesecake from Taza Platito Desserts.

Shout out to my friends Mai, Sha, and Nads!

I recommend this place if you’re looking for a place to hang out/dine with your family and friends. They have great food, funky atmosphere, A/C, and parking space!

Going Crazy Over Unli Meat! Samgyupsalamat Experience

The “Saturday Group” wanted to try this restaurant, Samgyupsalamat, many have been raving about. Though we had to wait for almost 2 hours to be seated, I’d say it is totally worth it.

Customer service is superb! The staff was courteous and attentive. Our orders came out quickly and side dishes were replenished real fast. We had unlimited pork and beef for P499 per person. You can choose from 5 kinds of pork and 9 kinds of beef. It also includes unlimited banchan (side dishes), rice, and soup. The food is good! I liked the kimchi and the scallion salad with sesame oil the most. The meat is of good quality and flavorful. I lost count of how many plates we had that night!

Overall, I’d say that our experience is excellent and I recommend you try it!

TIPS:

1. The afternoon/dinner buffet starts at 3pm. Make sure you place your name in the waiting list. Please allot about an hour waiting time to be seated. They close at 2am.

2. You can order a maximum of 2 plates at a time. Once consumed, then you can order the next batch.

3. Same unlimited course should be chosen per table. Choose if you’ll go all pork or have pork and beef. Damay damay ito! Walang titiwalag.

Exploring Hong Kong 2017

I love how modernity and tradition in this vibrant city of Hong Kong intertwine. Exploring this fast-paced urban jungle, I was able to see a modern city rich of ancient culture.

Here are some places we visited during the trip:

Mongkok: This place is known for Ladies’ Market where you do bargain shopping of bags and clothes, Temple Street Night Market for street food and just about anything (toys, clothes, souvenirs), and Sneaker Street where shoes and sports stores are located.

Tip: Bargain! Bargain! Bargain!

Central: It is the business district of Hong Kong. Skyscrapers, luxury malls with high-end brands, fancy restaurants, and night clubs surround this financial hub. You can also find here the oldest Temple in Hong Kong, the Man Mo Temple.

Tip: Go to the rooftop garden of IFC mall and enjoy the view. It’s open to the public. 🙂

Tsim Sha Tsui: It is a shopping and nightlife district in Kowloon. You can watch Hong Kong’s Symphony of Lights in TST Promenade and appreciate Hong Kong’s skyline. It’s interesting to watch street performers and try out one of Hong Kong’s favorite snacks… egg tart.

I’ve only seen a part of Hong Kong and I know there’s more to explore, more places to see, more food to try, and more people to meet. I will definitely visit this dazzling city again.
