Dipping grilled meat into gooey melted cheese has leveled up the Samgyupsal experience. The grill has partitions where you can melt your cheese (feels like cheese fondue), another part for cooking scrambled eggs, and one for kimchi. Romantic Baboy’s unlimited pork and beef bbq is only for Php499. It comes with unlimited banchan (side dishes), rice, and gochujang jjigae (spicy soup). Two thumbs up for the excellent quality of meat they offer. There are 8 kinds of meat dishes to choose from, each letter from the word ROMANTIC stands for a meat dish.
My favorites were: Spicy beef, Yangyum Galbi (marinated pork ribs), and Romantic Bulgogi (Sweet marinated korean style beef). This got to be one of the legit places for unlimited Korean barbecue. We will definitely be back for more Samgyupsal!

Another meet up day with Sha and Maia. We were thinking of having Korean buffet but we ended up at Malingap Central. We enjoyed our food the first time we were here and we knew we had to come back and try other food items. As always, this night was full of fun.

I enjoyed making this vlog and I can’t wait to show it to you guys. We had an awesome experience in this recently opened food hall in QC. The place looks vibrant and cool with well thought out concepts and food selections. There are 11 food stalls to choose from.
It felt like I’m in food heaven and couldn’t decide which one to eat. My favorites for the night were: beef kebab from Shish-K and the polvoron cheesecake from Taza Platito Desserts.
Shout out to my friends Mai, Sha, and Nads!
I recommend this place if you’re looking for a place to hang out/dine with your family and friends. They have great food, funky atmosphere, A/C, and parking space!
When your friends are addicted to Korean Drama, they’ll do anything to get their friends join them. When we were planning to meet for lunch after Christmas, Carla suggested we go to a Korean restaurant. Ate Tin and Carla have been craving for Korean food and Soju. Korean resto it is!
We had lunch at Don Day Fresh Korean BBQ. I enjoyed Don Day’s Samgyupsal and Japchae. For 499 pesos, you can have the unlimited beef and pork combo for the Samgyupsal and other food selections on the buffet. How do you get your money’s worth at a buffet? Go for the unli meat and go for the seafood!
This food trip is all about hot and spicy food in Maginhawa Street and we took it to the extreme. First off, we went to Caution Hot and got our spicy noodles fix. You get to choose your meat, broth, noodles, and level of spiciness. I had pork-Szechuan-egg noodles in 2nd degree burn. It also has mushrooms, greens, and fried egg in it. 2nd degree is tolerable and I think I can handle til 3rd degree burn. Thumbs up also to the Kuchay-Pork dumplings. I like it dipped in the soy sauce + chili sauce mix rather than the black vinegar. Yum!
Next stop was at 150 Maginhawa Food Park where we had 1lb of buffalo wings with INSANE level of heat…the hottest. We also had 1lb of chicken wings in WILD level of spiciness just in case we chicken out, literally and figuratively. It is indeed insane! My mouth was on fire!!! SAM’s Vanilla Caramel shake helped dilute the painful heat in my mouth. Whewwww! With 4 wings left on the table…I guess food wins in this challenge.

The “Saturday Group” wanted to try this restaurant, Samgyupsalamat, many have been raving about. Though we had to wait for almost 2 hours to be seated, I’d say it is totally worth it.
Customer service is superb! The staff was courteous and attentive. Our orders came out quickly and side dishes were replenished real fast. We had unlimited pork and beef for P499 per person. You can choose from 5 kinds of pork and 9 kinds of beef. It also includes unlimited banchan (side dishes), rice, and soup. The food is good! I liked the kimchi and the scallion salad with sesame oil the most. The meat is of good quality and flavorful. I lost count of how many plates we had that night!
Overall, I’d say that our experience is excellent and I recommend you try it!
1. The afternoon/dinner buffet starts at 3pm. Make sure you place your name in the waiting list. Please allot about an hour waiting time to be seated. They close at 2am.
2. You can order a maximum of 2 plates at a time. Once consumed, then you can order the next batch.
3. Same unlimited course should be chosen per table. Choose if you’ll go all pork or have pork and beef. Damay damay ito! Walang titiwalag.

Here’s a treat…Gooey grilled cheese with salsa and refried beans on your nachos! That is some awesome cheesy goodness! My lactose intolerant self couldn’t help but get a taste of this bomba. I also had roasted chicken with burrito rice and triple mac and cheese. Chicken is juicy and delicious as well as the rice. The triple mac and cheese needs a little ooomph as it is bland. Oh, the mango iced tea is good too! Visit La Carnita and have a taste of this ooohlala bomba.
