Spectators gathered at the Quirino Grandstand yesterday afternoon to watch amateur and pro drifters rev up their engines in the first leg of the Lateral Drift Championship Series this 2012.
They had all the cars lined up and had each of the drivers introduce themselves.
The sun is up and the cars are ready to drift! Tandem battle runs started, it’s elimination time! The burning tires and the roaring engines pumped up the crowd. It was so cool watching the chase driver try to get close to the lead driver, like waiting for some car wreck to happen. š”
These drivers showed masterful execution of their skills as no major car crash happened even during the rain at the latter part of the event.
